We sat down with her in the store, surrounded by soft linen pieces and handcrafted jewelry. Afry ensures that everything in her store feels intentional, timeless, and beautifully made. This careful curation is what makes Karja more than just a shop—it’s an experience, a space where design and purpose come together effortlessly.

Afry have her own clothing brand that she sells in Karja, Kameja Bali and Basique Et Moi. “I’ve always loved design—fashion, interiors, everything,” she tells me. “Karja and my brands is my way of bringing together things that are not just pretty but also meaningful.” That meaning comes through in every piece. Afry’s work is all about slow fashion—things that last, things made with care. “People are so used to fast fashion, buying things that don’t last,” Afry says. “But here, I want people to connect with what they buy, to love it for years, not just a season.”

At Karja Concept Store, it’s not just about Afry’s brand, it’s about celebrating Bali’s creative community. Alongside her carefully curated pieces, the store also features local brands like Vomer, Rilley, Bubble by Maju, and Isla, each bringing its unique touch to the space.
