Soléa Rooftop Restaurant, Enjoying Mediterranean Flavors from Sanur’s Highest Rooftop
Wigobali.com – Sanur has its own way of enjoying Bali. This coastal area, known for its more tranquil atmosphere, now offers a dining experience from above.
Through Soléa Rooftop Restaurant. Located on the 11th floor of Hotel Bali Beach,
the restaurant brings together panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and Mediterranean dishes that make use of Bali’s rich local ingredients.
From above, Sanur’s coastline stretches into view, providing a different backdrop for enjoying lunch, sipping cocktails in the afternoon.
Or spending the evening with loved ones.

Here, the dining experience is shaped not only by what is served on the table, but also by the atmosphere that accompanies it.
The name Soléa is inspired by two Latin words, sol, meaning sun, and olea, referring to olives.
Together, they reflect the character of this restaurant: warm, relaxed, and rooted in Mediterranean culinary traditions.
The menu draws inspiration from three regions, namely Southern Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
Uniquely, to develop its culinary concept, Soléa collaborated with The Locavore Group through the creative expertise of chefs Eelke Plasmeijer and Ray Adriansyah.
The approach invites guests to enjoy dishes in smaller portions, allowing them to explore a variety of flavors in one sitting and share them with their dining companions.

One of the dishes on offer is Scallop Crudo with Ajo Blanco and roasted Muscat grapes. This combination of ingredients presents a seafood interpretation inspired by Mediterranean culinary traditions.
There is also Beef Tartare seasoned with Baharat, accompanied by pickled black pepper and pita chips. The use of Baharat, a spice blend popular in the Middle East, gives this dish its distinctive character.
For lovers of Mediterranean rice dishes, Seasonal Paella with ‘Nduja, Salmoretta, and seafood is one of the options.
Meanwhile, Roasted Cabbage with Harissa sauce and Herb Pangrattato offers a different approach to plant-based ingredients through a play of spices and textures.
This diverse menu takes guests on a journey through the culinary character of several Mediterranean regions without having to leave Sanur’s coastline.

The sharing-style dining concept also creates room for a more relaxed dining experience, where one table becomes a place to sample various flavors at once.
Cocktails with a Special Touch
The experience at Soléa goes beyond food. Its drink selection also offers creative interpretations of ingredients and flavors.
Raka Ambarawan has crafted a cocktail collection inspired by the Mediterranean, combining drink recipes with aromatic ingredients and unconventional elements.
One of them is Nile Reverie, which combines Emperador Brandy with cardamom infusion, Amaretto Disaronno, lemon, egg white, and ginger syrup.

This combination brings together the character of spices with sour and sweet notes.
Another option, Garden of Eden, combines Ketel One Vodka infused with Parmesan cheese, parsley, apple, and apple syrup. This combination of ingredients demonstrates how savory, fresh, and sweet elements can become part of a beverage exploration.
For wine enthusiasts, Soléa also offers a collection of around 70 wines from eight countries. This variety complements the dining experience, whether paired with dishes or enjoyed in a more relaxed setting.

From Lunch to Dinner Under the Stars
One of Soléa’s main attractions is the flexibility of its atmosphere. The restaurant does not limit the dining experience to celebrations or special occasions.
A spontaneous lunch, enjoying a drink after activities, or having dinner with ocean views can all be reasons to visit.
As evening approaches, Sanur offers a different experience from the daytime. Coastal views, open air, and city lights provide a backdrop for enjoying dishes at a more leisurely pace.

The presence of Soléa Rooftop Restaurant adds to Sanur’s culinary offerings, especially for those seeking a combination of international cuisine, creative drink concoctions, and panoramic views of Bali from above.
For those who wish to sample Mediterranean culinary interpretations above Sanur’s coastline, Soléa Rooftop Restaurant is open daily from 12.00 to 00.00 WITA.
